A wish. A prayer. A loving thought. A blessing.

To show mercy. To grant peace. To heal the world.

These thoughts and feelings are what make us unique as people.

They make us compassionately human.

I believe that words are things. Whether spoken or written,

words have energy and power. What we do with our words

is our choice. Whatever we decide, our words have ripple effects

that permeate beyond our immediate environment.

My Mission

The purpose of the Wishing Tree Project™ is to build

a spirit of goodwill and friendship that collectively lifts us all

in a creative way. By lifting others, we also lift ourselves.

My intention is simple: to create something beautiful,

creative and positive together for others to experience.

Easy to Participate

It’s easy to create your wish! Download this PDF form and read the instructions. It’s free to participate! All you need is your desire,

your creativity, and a stamp.

Your wish could be for yourself, for another; your community

or the world. What matters is that it’s important to you;

and your sincere and loving intent.

Your wish will be part of a collection of beauty, publicly displayed

on a holiday tree, in my studio, with the others that are received.

I will serve as the designer and caretaker of this tree through

the holiday season. Photos will appear on a specially created Facebook page, and hopefully in other media.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to have your wish displayed

on the Wishing Tree, I must receive it

no later than November 21.

The Wishing Tree Project™ is the brainchild of Kathy Milici,

who loves all things artistically beautiful. As a calligrapher,

designer, teacher and mentor, Kathy combines her passion

for lettering and teaching with inspiration, motivation, and humor.

She believes in lifting individuals through positive thoughts,

words, actions, and attitudes.
