Student Cancellation Policy

1. Students who have been confirmed for classes or workshops may reschedule or cancel reservations by sending written notification via fax, USPS mail, or email, at least ten business days before the scheduled class start date. The date and time stamp on your fax, letter, or email will be used to determine eligibility for refund or rescheduled classes. You will receive an email confirmation receipt of your cancellation notification. Your refund will be issued in the same payment form as your original enrollment payment (credit card or check). If a credit card was used for payment, there will be a $15.00 administration fee.

2. Individuals who cancel a confirmed enrollment less than ten business days before the class start date are entitled to full class credit that must be used for a class within 12 months or a refund will be offered minus an administration fee of $25.00.

3. Those who fail to appear at the subsequent class as scheduled, will be billed the full tuition paid.

4. 24 Karat Designs LLC reserves the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel any scheduled workshop/class due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control (like weather related issues). If a class is postponed, rescheduled or cancelled, students will be given notice by 24 Karat Designs LLC before the start of the class. For example, if one session of an 8 week class is cancelled due to inclement weather, an additional class would be added at the end of the semester to complete all 8 sessions. If a one-day workshop is cancelled, registrants may then enroll in the next available offering of the course, or cancel the registration. In the event of cancellation by 24 Karat Designs LLC, any payment made for the canceled class will be applied to later class offerings or refunded. The student understands and agrees that 24 Karat Designs LLC shall not, in any way, be held responsible for any costs, including loss of airfare or other transportation costs, hotel expenses or other damages, which the student may incur in the event that 24 Karat Designs LLC cancels or reschedules a class.

5. There are no refunds once the course has commenced.
