About Kathy Milici

I’m a nationally known
calligrapher, designer, instructor
and mentor, who happily
admits to being obsessed with letters
since childhood. Owner of
24 Karat Designs Calligraphy Studio
in Newton, New Jersey, my
work has been seen in
national magazines and on
television.
I’m a member of the
Society
of Scribes in New York City,
and
IAMPETH (The
International Association of Master Penman, Engrossers, and Teachers
of Handwriting. I teach both at home
and travel the country,
lecturing and teaching calligraphy
and the related arts. I
also enjoy mentoring fellow artists
and art students in how
to create a living and maintain
a viable business,
working as an artist.
I am lucky to be a professional calligrapher for 32 years,
and honored to have
studied with some of the best known
and respected Master
Penmen in the world, including White House calligraphers! My teachers have
included Pat Blair, Eleanor Winters,
Sheila and Julian Waters,
Michael Sull, Harvest Crittenden,
Valerie Weilmunster,
Barbara Calzolari, and Rosemary Buczek.
After all these years, I am still enjoying my lifelong passion
for “everything
calligraphy.”
For the love of letters,
Kathy Milici
